Sources from a reputed multi-national consulting firm in US have confirmed that people have started buying more in the US market. Retail market associations in US have seen this positive growth among consumers this year. The retail business flourished this Christmas and was buzzing for the New Year too. The increase in spending this year on shopping which is more from last two years suggest that the income has seen some rise and people are slowly re-establishing their style of living. .
Though the rise after Christmas and New Year has taken a beating but industry expert say that people are going to start spending more this year on shopping and the old good days of hefty spending is going to be back soon. Big time spending can be seen by early April and it will continue depending on how the financial market shape-up. The steps taken by the US administration to get back the economy on track has started to yield some positive results and there has been growth in some job sectors.
The consulting firm also revealed that this shopping trend will increase by 5% year-on-year depending on the job market scenario. They also confirmed that discount outlets will see rise in profit by 25% this year itself and profit margin might zoom close to 75% in next 10 years. These trends seem to be favorable for US economy.

The ranking on the women singles tennis circuit is becoming a farce because one can find players who have never won a major grand slam title or any major event are ranked top in the world. It all started with both the William sister’s getting injured and playing less on the WTA circuit. First it was, Marat Safin’s sister Dinara Safina from Russia becoming the no.1 ranked singles player in the world on the women’s circuit without having won a major title and that was in the year 2009, from then on one has seen many other new faces who have donned the top position.
The latest one is Caroline Wozniacki who doesn’t have any major singles title under her belt on the WTA circuit but due to absence of top players like Justine Henin, Maria Sharapova, Kim Clijsters, Serena and Venus Williams from the singles circuit due to injuries and personal reasons these new stars have climbed the ranking ladder but yet haven’t showed their true potential in major events like the Grand Slams.
Serena and Venus have won many Grand Slam titles among them but they were languishing out of top 10 rankings for sometime due to absence because of injuries. Blackberry given ultimatum
Blackberry the mobile phone service provider is in trouble in most countries due to its high encryption system which prevents the government of many countries from tapping the information transmitted through their network. Due to growing security concern in many countries it has become necessary for government agencies of every country to keep a track of various data in voice as well as through internet.
Many countries have asked Blackberry to either provide solution to decrypt data which are send through their network so that they can keep track of any unusual activity and protect their country and citizen. Blackberry has very high encrypted service to provide its consumers with optimum privacy but some government agencies in Asian as well as European countries have felt the need to keep track on the conversation of its subscribers for the safety of their country.
Blackberry official first denied giving decryption mechanism to many governments but the governments gave them ultimatum to budge with the orders or close their service permanently. A gulf country allowed them to keep their service for time being while another Asian country gave them some extension on promise that they will provide solution for decrypting the voice and message data.
Blackberry has maintained that it will keep privacy of most of its users intact. Experts say that Blackberry is working on a mechanism where most governments can track only suspicious calls and data send to and from their network. Industry sources maintain that such an approach by government agencies is uncalled for and there is no need for such extreme steps like tapping phone calls and data over internet.
