how many calories do you need a day?

Why we need Calories?

Everyone needs energy to remain healthy; so as to do day to day work. Calories provide us with that energy. Calorie is a unit of energy, which is essential for our well being; without sufficient amount of calories in our body it would be difficult for us to survive.

How to get them?

It is very essential to have calories in our diet to remain on our toes. Our diet should be rich in protein, mineral’s, high carbohydrates etc to make sure that we get necessary energy from them and this energy that we get from these type of nutrients are nothing but calories.

How much we need?

The amount of calories you need depends on 3 factors –
1)       Your body structure.
2)       Your appetite.
3)       Amount of your workload.

Your body structure is directly proportional to your appetite; that is, depending on your physique you should have an appetite that would help you get in the necessary calories, but the amount of workload you have daily would mean more energy would be required to be in good state after completion of his/her work; so the exact amount of calories required by an individual should be almost twice his appetite and it would vary with person to person.

Having more extra calories helps because when you try to lose fats or want to do bodybuilding, the energy required is derived from these extra calories which burn-out once the workload increases and even after such heavy duty workload you can still stand on your feet healthy; so you should always have those extra calories in your kitty. There is no such analytical figure that can prove actual requirement of calories per day.
