Biceps always help in making your personality and it is something that every man desires to get; powerful and strong biceps are essential to make your arms stronger; most people work on developing biceps before building any other part of the body. The function of biceps is to twist the wrist and also to curl the arm.

3 exercises for biceps

1)      To work on your biceps you need to do chin-ups; for this exercise you need to have an overhead bar fitted to your door so that you can always work on them at your time and chin-ups also help to strengthen your back. Chin-ups are done with palm facing you on the overhead bar and moving your body over the bar and slowly moving downwards and repeating it several times; you need to do chin-ups in sets; doing chin-ups is not an easy task especially for those using it for the first time.

2)      Building your biceps can also be done by using a barbell; here I am talking about barbell curls which is widely used and very popular exercise for building those biceps; this exercise is used for building muscle mass of biceps.

3)      By using a dumbbell you can work on your biceps to do four different dumbbell curl exercises:
  • The first one is dumbbell curls in sitting position, which helps in building and defining the biceps muscle mass with better bicep contraction.
  • The second one is dumbbell curls in lying position, for doing this exercise you need to workout on a bench while resting on it; it gives much more range for building muscle mass,.
  • The third one is dumbbell curls at an inclined position; it gives variety in building your biceps muscle and is done by sitting on a bench inclined at an obtuse angle, it helps in overall growth of biceps.
  • The fourth one is dumbbell curls in an alternative way; in this exercise you have to stand upright and alternately move your left and right hand up and down; it builds and isolates the bicep muscle.

Nothing is easy in life but if you decide that you want them, than you can do it; what you need to do is at start work in sets with small reps and than gradually increase its frequency; if you daily work on it results will be great, your biceps and arms would look awesome.
