Learning is a process and it is an integral part of our life. Most things we learn are from our fellow human beings but the learning process has to be right one and therefore one needs to have right education to know what is right or wrong for betterment of mankind and society. As a toddler we learn what we see in our house and neighborhood, just by looking at the actions of our near and dear ones we imitate things and as a toddler we don’t know whether those actions which we do are right or wrong.
To judge what is right or wrong for us and the society in general one needs to have right education, an education which helps you understand people and their emotions. Most of us go to school and colleges to learn, in the process we make a career by using our education but does that make us a good human being who would contribute to society in a positive way? The answer is no because there are so many people who are very well educated but they behave like an illiterate, they don’t know how to respect people and elders.
Religious education is necessary for well being of society because it makes you humble, well mannered, obedient, cultured, tolerant and forgiving. Religious education teaches you to help the needy by feeding them and taking care of their needs which helps the society in a very big way.
Religious education helps us to respect each and every religion on this planet to maintain peace and harmony with every human being, in short religious education helps in maintaining harmony in the society. Every religious education on this planet helps the society in many ways because it teaches you to be peaceful even when you are surrounded with enemies so that with peaceful negotiations matters can be solved and there is no destruction of life and property so that there is peace in the society.
To contribute to society it is very important to have religious education because it teaches you the right manners which we don’t learn much in schools and colleges while we mingle with our mates. Religious education is necessary because we understand the importance of parents in our life and we don’t throw them to old-age homes when they grow older because in every religion on this planet, the stress has been given on respecting parents and elders, also every religion strictly tells us to take care of parents in a humble way during their old age.
No religion in this world permits you to drink alcohol and become addicted to things which are not good for mankind and society in general. Individuals with proper religious education know how to control themselves and shrug away all such addictions, such individuals serve the society better than the people without proper religious education.
One needs to have proper religious education to understand feelings and emotions of every community because on this planet there are many religions and all sorts of people of various race live together so there is need to have peace and harmony among everyone of us which right religious education teaches us for betterment of society.
